As an outgrowth of a highly successful
20-year interior design practice in the New York metropolitan area, Sallea Antiques’s founder. Sally B. Kaltman, imported and installed a diverse range of small, elegant antique accessories for her clientele.
These items included a magnificent collection of 17th, 18th and 19th century boxes of all types, shapes and materials, representative of the finest, craftsmanship of those periods including antique tea caddies, fitted boxes, writing boxes and desks accessories, French boxes, crystal boxes and games and game boxes.
In addition, other elegant antique accessories such as oriental porcelains (Japanese porcelain (Imari) and Chinese Export Porcelain), brass implements, paintings, old books and select furniture, originating mainly from England, France, the Far East and America were acquired and placed for clients.
